Dr. Turner has been practicing cardiology in Texoma since 2007. He attended Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his training at Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, TX, where he did his residency and fellowship in internal medicine and general and interventional cardiology. He is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Turner has been involved in the Texoma community for 18 years and enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He is dedicated to all of his patients and their families and makes their health his top priority. Practicing medicine and taking care of patients and families in our community is something he loves. Dr. Turner sees patients at Texoma Medical Center, Baylor Scott & White - The Heart Hospital in McKinney, and Plano.
Dr. Mahjoobi has provided interventional cardiology care to the Texoma region since 2017. He completed his internal medicine residency and fellowships in general and interventional cardiology at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, a nationally recognized institution ranked among the top 100 teaching hospitals for more than a decade. He is board-certified in interventional cardiology. Dr. Mahjoobi provides care at Baylor Scott & White Heart Hospital in Plano and McKinney, as well as Texoma Medical Center. Outside of medicine, he enjoys time with his family. He and his wife, Leigh Ann, have been married for 23 years and are proud parents of two college students. Much of his free time is spent in Austin, supporting their kids’ personal and academic endeavors.

Meet Our Nurse Practitioners!
Heather Anderson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with extensive clinical experience in cardiology. With a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman's University and a post-Master's Certification from the University of Texas at Arlington. Nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Heather is dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to the community. Heather has been a nurse for 13 years and a nurse practitioner for 8 years. She has been with this group for 10 years. When not in the clinic, she enjoys reading and spending time outside with her husband and children.
Maddison Davis is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in cardiology and critical care. She began her nursing career in the ICU and CVICU, where she developed a passion for cardiovascular health. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Grayson College and later completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington. Born and raised in North Texas, Maddison is proud to care for the Texoma community that shaped her. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, skiing in Colorado, and spending time at the beach with her husband, son, and extended family

Melissa Scott is a dedicated nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology, originally from Northwest Arkansas and now living in North Texas with her husband and son. Melissa is proud to have attended the University of Texas at Arlington. With 17 years of nursing experience and 8 years as a nurse practitioner, Melissa brings deep clinical knowledge and compassionate care to her patients. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and enjoys being outdoors.
